Mission Statement
The mission of the Wieland Elementary Library is to help our students develop an appreciation of reading by providing quality literature and to assist our students in building information literacy skills that will help them to become life-long learners.
Destiny Online Catalog
The Wieland Library offers more than 14,000 books for your reading pleasure, as well as our digital library, Sora. We have a growing Vietnamese collection to support our Vietnamese bilingual learners.
Student Policies
The Library is open daily from 7:40 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Students in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade are allowed to check out one library book, while students in Second through Fourth Grades are allowed to check out two library books. Fifth graders may check out three books. Fourth and fifth graders also may check out audio books, called Playaways. Students must provide their own battery (AAA) and headphones to listen. All students have access to Sora 24/7.
Volunteering is Pfun!
The Wieland Library needs volunteers! There are so many ways you can help in the library. All volunteers must complete the Pflugerville ISD Volunteer Application before you can start working in the library. Please visit the District's volunteer page for more information.
